Yesterday I spent about 3 hours in my closet, mostly undressed, and in front of a full length mirror. I may never recover. Mostly about what makes life worth living, and what I’d like to do with mine! I’ve always had a bucket list of sorts, mostly locked away in the recesses of my [...] Well, we’re still on the road, but the trip has been better than expected so far! The past few days have been quiet since we’ve been with Hubby’s dad and his wife, but prior to that we spent a day kayaking on the Bay of Fundy, whale watching in the Halifax harbor, and parked on a beach [...] Sensational Haiku Wednesday Welcome to “Sensational Haiku Wednesday!” The basics: Haiku is simple! We’re at just over 3 months now since I had PRK Laser eye surgery, can you believe it? What a ride it has been so far. The first week was pure, unadulterated hell, and I was in agony. The weeks after were a nightmare of [...] I can’t believe I completely forgot about my anniversary! No, not that one – this Blog’s 1st anniversary! It was May 16th – a whole week ago! Usually I’m very good about dates, and remembering things like that – I had intended to do a big splashy “Woohoo, lookie here” post, and now I’m just a lame [...] It really takes so little to make me happy. Really and truly. Impromptu tickle fests with my sleepy-eyed kids on my giant king-size bed, a quiet moment with my husband, singing with my friends… little things. I don’t need extravagant gifts, flowers, accolades or awards.
