Saucy, who was the very first blog I ever followed faithfully, and who is a great inspiration to me, has a contest on her blog to give away a beautiful indoor/outdoor carpet. I must have this carpet! It would be wonderful – nay, perfect – for my back patio. I never win anything, but it’s certainly [...] I have my office set up so my husband can use his computer in there too – and sometimes the Teen plops herself in his chair and does the Facebook thing. I enjoy cooking for a special occasion, and baking is fun, mostly, but cooking every night is simply annoying. While I loved the overall look, that theme simply had too many problems (one of which was that Internet Explorer couldn’t read it properly… I loathe IE). So I’ve just switched over to a [...] ShaMoo and I performed in a concert last night with the group we sing with. The music for this concert was everything we hoped it would be, and the audience was very appreciative. I came away euphoric, and bone weary! I love the energy that goes into our performances. When I saw recently in a Top (hint hint) US supermarket that they had yams and sweet potatoes – but that they were both marked as the other – I just about had a bird. It was a good move – Calgary is an “ok” place to live, and I certainly had a lot of fun growing up there, but it had lost it’s appeal for us long ago.
