Seeing more clearly… pain is gone!
Another chapter in my surgery saga. It’s been 2 weeks, and I am definitely seeing very well now. I still have very dry eyes, but not nearly as bad as they were (I can actually get them open in the morning now without first using drops), and I don’t have to medicate to get to sleep now. I still can’t drive at night (the glare from headlights is brutal) but I’m hoping that will clear up soon so I don’t wear out the extreme generosity of my loved ones!!

Well, Jenn, I am happy for you. And of course we all want you to continue to get better. It must be a pain to not be able drive at night. I couldn’t imagine getting up EVERY morning with my eyes stuck shut. That only happens here when I have a really bad cold.

I had laser eye surgery a couple of years ago. It was one of the best things I have ever done in my life! I wore glasses for over 20 years. Don’t need them now.

I´m so happy you´re in less pain! I´m sure those other symptoms will clear up as well. It will be worth it. I´m trying to convince my hubby to have laser eye surgery. I will tell him your success story…. :) (but not the part about the pain :))

Glad to hear that! I looked over your saga briefly. Ouch! I have terrible vision and always thought maybe one day… I’m not so sure now. Hope you get back to normal soon! (whatever normal may be ;)

About that Academy Award ball gown (as talked about in my today's blog, “SparkleFarkled Razzle-Dazzle!”: problem solved! Here’s what we Farkles do: Find an online picture of what you’d love to wear to the Oscars. Save it. Print it (8 x 10ish). Scissors off the original wearer’s head. Safety pin the outfit to your shirt, lining it up snug, so that your head is where the one you just snipped off once was. Tah-dah! You’re all gussied up for the BIG celebration!
