I cannot believe how annoyed I am right now.
I have always extolled the virtues of using Google – I love my Google tool page, and use it all day long. But today… today they seriously ticked me off.
When I post a Mosaic Monday post, I always make a point of visiting each and every person who has participated, and always leave them a comment.
Today though, I was faced with this utter nonsense, about half way through the blog list, when I went to visit a Blogger based blog (and all subsequent Blogger addresses too):
Can you imagine?! Now when you’re blog hopping, “Big Brother” can stick out a foot and trip you up. So now I can’t visit anyone who has a blogger based blog. How long will this last? Who knows, but it appears that a good percentage of Mosaic makers will be off limits to me today. (before you ask, I know I have no infections. My computers – every one of them – are squeaky clean).
I’m pretty steamed.
Have any of you run into the same problem? If so, follow the link provided on their error page and complain about it – tell them what you were doing and why you’ve been hitting so many google based pages (blogger blogs and comment forms).
I certainly hope this is an overzealous *NEW* script that they’ll find isn’t working very well, and fix it. I get the reasoning behind it, but they’ve gone TOO far in their pursuit of all things “safe”.
that is friggin dumb…So you cant visit too many of their pages or you are a spammer? Again…dumb!

I ran into that too! So behind trying to visit everyone. I feel aweful. Glad to know it wasn’t just me. Seems to be okay now. ‘fingers crossed’

I haven’t run into this exact problem, but I have had a few issues with my blog that I can not for the life of me get help with. Such as my Follow widget being broken. I know people are following me but I have no idea who because the stupid widget won’t show up. And even on my home page it won’t tell me. So I guess I am just SOL when it comes to that which really bothers me.
Should have made my WordPress my permanent blog ,I guess, but I am just too invested in Blogger now and I am finally building up some readership… Maybe one day I will figure out how to fix what is wrong with my Followers widget. I hate to think I have people following me that I don’t follow back.

Yes I ran into the same problem. I’ve been sitting here tonite trying to get caught up and find that some blogs I am unable to leave a message…… maybe tomorrow.

That happened to me one day last week and a few folks were complaining about it on FB. I don’t know what the problem is, but they really need to do something about that. So far, today, I haven’t had any problems.

This same thing happened to me two weeks ago. Literally locked out of blogger. I ran McAfee and so far so good. Good luck. I was quite pissed, I will admit.

I’m not entirely sure how long the ban lasted, but after my dinner party last night I tried again, and was able to get to the rest of the list who use Blogger. It was long enough that it was incredibly inconvenient though. I don’t know when they implemented this, but when I did the same list last week I had no trouble. Very, very annoying!
Hmmmm I’ve never run into that problem… but then again, I’m blogger based so that might be why it hasn’t happened to me. Ahhhhh technology
To ere is human, but to really screw things up you need a computer!

By the way, I’ve had this same annoying message twice in the last week. I thought it was my computer getting a virus or something. I shall have to look deeper into this mystery.

This is a Google problem and has nothing to do with your computer. I don’t know what their problem is, but they locked me out for about 4 hours one day. I have had issues with Blogger for years. another thing that ticks me off is their templates that refuse to let me comment with anything but a blogger id.
