Sensational Haiku Wednesday

Welcome to “Sensational Haiku Wednesday!”

Click here for info and background on this weekly event!

The basics:

Haiku is simple! It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively (a great way to use your fingers!)

This week’s theme is: Harmonics

      Slightly off the note
      Fighting it and righting it
      Takes years of practice

      Merely seeing you
      Rings true, blending greatest joy
      Key of happiness

      Hiding true feelings
      Family harmonics shared
      Often takes some work

Next week’s theme: Noel!

Note: Nothing makes me happier than to see new people getting “hooked on haiku”! Keep it going to make it to the Hooked on Haiku List

Enjoyed the prompt and your lovely haiku. Here’s mine:

    Harmonics converge
    In a dissonant parade
    Of the marching bands.

    A posted haiku
    Surfaces one in my mind
