Buddy, don’t call me Pal, OK?
I have a “thing” about being called Buddy, or Pal. For me it’s along the same lines as saying Jerk. Long story. It came up this week, so I’m using it today.
Besides the obvious Jenn, I also answer to Sweetheart, Darling, Babe, and, of course, Your Majesty. Just sayin’.

As far as names go, I think it depends on who is calling you the name and in what context. If there is a hint of sarcasm, no term of endearment works very well.
