The basics:
Haiku is simple! It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively (a great way to use your fingers!)

Leaves flutter. drop. drift.
Air stirs, crisp and fresh. Steps crunch.
Red, gold, orange, green.

Good morning, love your Haiku Jenn, I also loved kicking up the leaves as a child. I used to walk to school with my mum and do this all the way along the street – Autumn brings back good memories of this.

Great Haiku this week – I can’t get your comments thing to work, I think eleven comes after 10 but it keeps telling me I’m wrong! Anyway I love ginger and nutmeg too and used them both in my curry this evening – great for a cold, wet, windy night!
