The basics:
Haiku is simple! It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively (a great way to use your fingers!)
This week’s theme is: Appreciation – your choice of context.
My silly submission for this week:
We are together
My babies, husband and me
Living, loving, life
As long time participants know, my oldest was away for 6 weeks this summer, and returned to the nest this past weekend. I felt as though I’d been holding my breath all that time, and can only now breathe deeply again. Sweet relief…

I am, and this time it’s definitely silly :D (Though the story from last year is true & serious – we were dying for a laundromat to wash our traveling clothes without spending a fortune; this one was a block from our hotel!)
