The basics:
Haiku is simple! It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively (a great way to use your fingers!)
This week’s theme is: Summer Time
Here is my silly submission for this week:
Bright sunshine and heat
Flowers, and kids in the pool
What could be better?
Next week’s theme: Birthday Woes/Joys (it falls on my birthday the 3rd anniversary of my very last birthday!)

Hmm not sure if this is right – sorry I’m a bit late too! I just checked and I think it’s still Wednesday in Hawaii, so let’s just pretend I’m there rather than in Scotland, I’m sure it’s more like summertime there anyway ;)
