While I like Blogger, I wanted to be able to customize and tweak things that I just couldn’t do with their interface. I also decided I didn’t like the original name, either. So I decided to move it over to my own domain name.
What do you think? Like it? It was a free WordPress theme that I’ve tweaked heavily, and will continue to modify until I’m happy with it. I’m thinking the header might be a bit too big, but I really like the overall look. This is almost exactly what my desktop looks like, with my journal sitting right in front of me. The dahlia is from my garden, and the picture is of my daughters.
I like this a lot!! But, wait, that wouldn’t be COFFEE on your desktop, now would it?? GASP!!! No, it must be aspartame-free coke or something, right??
“ShaMoo”! I love it! heehee
Yeah coffee… I was thinking I should change it but so far haven’t found a suitable substitute. Then again, I really want to try to get into drinking coffee, so maybe I’ll leave it there as incentive.
Just take the plunge and drink coffee already!! Sheesh! LOL! I’m assuming i *know* who ShaMoo is..LOL Cute!!!
Yeah it’s her ;) Great name, although she’s not anywhere near whale shaped.
I’m having my very first iced coffee “as we speak”. Baby steps!
I started with Ice Caps from Tim Hortons when I was pregnant with Gregory. Then after Abigail came, Jay got me a coffee in the hospital and Woa! I felt a surge..and I was hooked! Now I am partial to French Vanilla Cappucino! :) C’mon….!!!! I’ll even bring you one so you can get hooked also..LOL
It wasn’t too bad – I could get used to it… and I can see exploring other flavour options too! It might not be as hard to like as I thought. :)
‘atta girl!! I personally prefer flavoured coffee over regular anyway but when I need caffeine, well, I’m not choosey!!
Oh, and ShaMoo was my nickname back in my sales days….they took the first three letters of both names for each rep and that’s who you were around the office. My sales manager was DouBoy so he heard “Bite me, dough boy” quite a bit, LOL!!!
