The basics:
Haiku is simple! It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively (a great way to use your fingers!)

Well I better get these in now before I forget:
Time flies like the wind.
Fruit flies like the banana.
Pant flies like Zipper.
So Jack be nimble,
Jump quick over candlestick.
Be quick or bum burns.
The next line is false.
But the above line is true,
Gad yes I’m confused.

Hmmm Knarf in the SHW and Knarf in a comment…I’m puzzled. But the beach boy loves the Haiku and has figured out that these are knick names that mean a lot to you :) Well done :) Happy Wednesday :)

Good morning Jenn! Your Silly Haikus always brighten up my Wednesdays – thanks for being such a wonderful host. Great haiku as always, music and singing always cheer me up.
