Welcome to “Sensational Haiku Wednesday!”
Click here for info and background on this weekly event!
The basics:
Haiku is simple! It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively (a great way to use your fingers!)
This week’s theme is: Freestyle
Honesty and love
Moments of darkness will pass
Truth remains; solid
Windows to the soul
Trust what you see. Trust your heart
Nothing else matters
Marriage, children, love
Rocky roads, but stay the course
Worth it in the end
Haunting memories
Dreams unfulfilled, and long gone
Open eyes, new day
Folks, a quick note about comments: A few of you don’t have Name/URL enabled on your blogs, and I CAN’T comment in that case. Take a moment to enable that, will you? There are other ways to combat spam and still allow people with their own domains to leave their homage to your greatness ;)
Next week’s theme: Anticipation
Note: Nothing makes me happier than to see new people getting “hooked on haiku”! Keep it going to make it to the Hooked on Haiku List (if you’re not listed and should be, please [politely] let me know!)
To participate in this week’s event, please use the following code in your post on your own blog (if you don’t have a blog, post your Haiku as a comment):
Love your beautiful writing.
Thank you for hosting….G
Thanks! I so wish I could leave a comment on your blog, G-Manh… but you don’t have Name/URL enabled!
Your haiku is so optimistic … and mine is so NOT. :)

Just because staying the course is worth it doesn’t mean it’s easy!

Hi Jenn, thanks for dropping by my blog. In answer to your question: Have you heard of a Devon Rex? They are bald cats. I don’t own one though. :O)
Hi
I know I linked to this but it is not here

Do you ever visit your contributers at all ?
I missed the next week because of tormentous trauma of lightening putting out the ADSL.
Failure to leave me a comment on my contribution will lead to me not taking part anymore. Thank you.
Having a bad day, dear? Of course I do, unless I can’t, and then I post something about it here.
