Wow, I could chew nails right now. The metal kind! Having such a bad day, and it’s not even noon yet.
Started off with the cat knocking an almost full glass of pink milk (milk with strawberry Quik in it) over on the table – where she KNOWS she’s not allowed to tread – which happened to be spread out with Wee One’s homework, work book, colouring book, and a few papers that came home from school for me to action… all pretty much ruined. Cue freaking out, complete with a few bad words mixed in for good measure. NOT a good way to start out the day. Oh man I just realized it’s probably inside the table where the leaf joins, too… awww man!
Other things setting me off today are too numerous to mention, all minor but irksome… but that last straw is coming. I can just feel it creeping up on me.
I think I need to get out of here and get some fresh air and sunshine. Maybe some retail therapy will help too.
In the mean time, enjoy these nonsensical, pointless pieces of plastic that never fail to make me smile, regardless of what mood I’m in. They’re solar powered, and sitting on the window sill of Wee One’s room.
I got one of those flower thingys from my sister. She said they were the hit in China and since we have so much sun, they would not stop to wiggle. :)
