Almost there… come back on [...] Wee one had me rushing her to the hospital last night at 11pm, complaining of pain in her nether regions. I was hoping she would fall asleep and I could take her to our regular (female) doctor this morning, but she slept for a total of 30 minutes and woke up screaming, which is extremely unlike [...] Silly Haiku Wednesday Welcome to “Silly Haiku Wednesday!” The basics: Haiku is simple! It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively (a great way to use your fingers!) This week’s theme is: Appreciation – your choice of context. My silly submission for this week: We are together I just got the most offensive chain letter. Not offensive in that it was chock full of contorted naked bodies or foul language, but just in the form that it took, and that it implies that people around you (or you yourself) will be horribly killed if you don’t spam everyone you know with it’s sappy, [...] Hubby looks a little grumpy, but he was just very engrossed in whatever the movie was (I tuned it out) and I think maybe I was annoying him a little with my photo session. Oh well, he kept his big boy pants on and didn’t say anything ;) I have been on colour-overload the last week, so [...] Having a lazy Sunday afternoon… Wee One and her Daddy snuggled up to watch a movie earlier, and Wee One had an unexpected nap. My 100th Post Happens [...] I get a lot of… weird visitors lately. Tons of comment spam – fortunately they never get through so I’m the only one who sees them. Idiots. The people who spend time doing that (or designing bots to do that) really need to get a life. The sheer amount of people searching for Guinea Pig cakes is [...] Today’s playdate with Doodle Cakes and ShaMoo started out well enough – we met at a new-to-us indoor playground because the weather was iffy at best, and our usual splash pad get together didn’t seem like such a good idea. Whatever would I do [...] Yeah, I know… I was channeling the Icanhascheezburger cat. There are things in this life that make me happy. My gorgeous daughters. My wonderful husband of 18+ years.
